Description

Postcard, A6 size, printed on high-quality paper (350 g/m2). Plain (white) back with signature. Everything in the design was hand-cut from cardstock (paper cut-out). All the cut-out items are glued together and arranged to create harmony. The original was then scanned and printed in Lagoa, Algarve.

Find in this postcard the typical features of the university city in Central Portugal: The black attire of the students, the guitar of the Fado de Coimbra, the façade of the Sé Velha (Old Cathedral), and the striking tower of the university. The colorful ribbons represent the different faculties and the lyrics are from the song of the same name as the city "Coimbra", also known as "April in Portugal".
